About Me

I am a new empty nester, and I love to make cards and ATCs. I am always looking for ways to use the product I have, to learn new techniques and ways to do things, and most of all, to have fun with the creating of my art.

The Play Date Cafe Challenge #076

This is my card for the Play Date Cafe Challenge 76. I started with pale blue cardstock as a base.  With white cardstock, I cut to fit the white a little smaller than the blue cardstock, and in Majestic Blue Versafine ink, I stamped Hero Arts Floating garden.  I coloured the leaves a bright green with a gel pen, and highlighted the one flower with a white gel pen.  I tore the bottom of the white cardstock on an angle, and edged it in Sky Blue Brilliance ink.  I layered the white panel on to the blue card base.  Using the same green gel pen, I wrote "For You" on the bottom of the card.
